Lucky You!  I thought I had already posted my Mom's Cow invite from last year, but NOPE not seeing it anywhere.  This turned out sooo cute if I don't say so myself.  I loved using a texture plate with my Big Shot (LOVE THOSE) and lots of punches. Did you know you can create just about anything with punches if you use a little creativity?  Let me know your thoughts!  My brain is already preparing for this years invite.. I think this is #12, I can't believe I have been making them for that long... ENJOY!!

One of my closest friends is getting married in just under a month, and earlier in July I flew to IL to throw her a bridal shower. I am so in love with our impression pads and the Big Shot machine! I am sooooooooo proud of myself for REALLY using the stuff I have. I went so long with just buying up a storm and didn't truly use what I had. I can say I am honestly enjoying my supplies ALL OVER again! Enjoy this birthday party invitation I made for a friend of mine's little girl. You really can't get the full effect because I sprayed some shimmer all over the paper, so it is sparkly!!

2009 HEIFER INVITE!!

For those of you who know my Mom, you know 7 friends and her get together each year for their annual Old Heifer Reunion. They are crazy ladies, but they have TONS of fun. Drum Roll please.... here is their 2009 invite!

To make the cow face I used: Top Note Die/Big Shot; Ears: Lg & Sm Oval Punch; Horns: Small Oval Punch; Nose: 2 Label Punch & 1/2" Circle Punch. Their is also half of a sm Oval Punch for the bottom Lip. FUN HUH??

Hello Again, I am slowly getting back in the swing of things mainly because my office is clean...atleast for now. So, I really need to take advantage of a visible desk, plus I have a backlog of things I need to make like: Christmas Cards (now on track to be Easter Cards, LOL), Team Gifts (now on track to be Spring Gifts), Birthday Cards...and I hate to admit some are REALLY late... oh the list could go on and on.

As I gear up for this new year with all my goals in hand, I wanted to share some of my favorite invitations from the past 7 1/2 years. Invitations are near and dear to my heart and if I had to do one thing it would be those.. I hope you enjoy these posts over the next few days!

Awhile ago I shared with you that I make my Mom's annual "Old Heifer" party invites, I have you intrigued don't I. About 7 years ago My Mom and 8 of her high school girlfriends started getting together once a year to just plain have fun. Somehow early on it got named "The Old Heifer Reunion." Since then their collection of cow's have grown, fun games are have been played, good food has been eaten, and lots of silliness happens!! I have never been invited, but I think I have earned and invite...oh wait I am making them, so maybe I will just make an extra for myself...he he he! Anyhow enjoy this look down memory lane..I am missing 2004's, but I hope to find it soon!

"VROOM"...DRIVING INTO "ONE" YEAR!

My little guy turns "ONE" a week from tomorrow and I just can't believe it! I wanted to take a moment to show you the invite I sent out for his upcoming party. Yes, the car set (By Land) is retired, I just had to use it because he LOVES cars and not just a little, ALOT! My original plan was to use our Prehistoric Pals Dinosaur set because it is oh so cute, but Drew had other plans. So, enjoy this card, I will have more to post after the party.
