Birthday Pazazz!

Here is a card I made for a friend to give. I can't claim this total idea as the fun sparkling sprinkles idea came from a card my sister-in-law and wonderful upline, Erin Blair made for my hubby (her brother). Click here to see some of her awesome ideas...

This was made for a little girl's 1st birthday! Although the picture does not show this well, the card actually measures 6" x 12", scored at 6". I am trying to go through some of my supplies I have not used in awhile, plus I have a surplus of old DSP, so you will see a retired DSP is used on this card. See supplies below:

SUPPLIES: Paper: Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery, Perfect Plum, Real Red, Retired DSP; Stamps: Birthday Whimsy (retired Sale-A-Bration), Simple Birthday Thanks; Ink: Basic Black; Misc: Crimper, Certainly Celery Grosgrain Ribbon, Crystal Effects, 2-Way Glue Pen, Dazzling Diamonds, 1/4" Circle Punch (retired).

Little Card Mania...

Order up, another little card is posted below. I don't know why I am on this kick, but they are SOOOOO Cute! This is similar to the one I made my MOPS table, but I actually made this one first for all of my MDO kiddos. Don't you think the little lamb is appropriate for the kids?! Enjoy this sweet little card!

Little Book for Less Than $1.00

Happy Memorial Day to All!

I wanted to take a quick moment to post this little book I covered for my MOPS table. I saw monogram items in the Michael's dollar bins, and I thought I could do that with some small books I got from the Target dollar bins (3 in a pack). So, here you go... again a quick and simple project.

SUPPLIES: Paper: Raspberry Tart DSP; Stamp Set: Defining Alphabet; Ink: Basic Black; Misc: Always Artichoke Grosgrain Ribbon.

SPECIAL MOPS GIFT!

Hello, Today was our last MOPS Steering meeting, so I put together a little gift for the Steering team. I took on the task of leading our MOPS group in January and I can't believe how fast the time has gone. These are simple, but I thought they turned out cute! Who couldn't resist a fun container filled with some kind of sugar?!

There really was not a lot of supplies that went into these. I used scraps of DSP, Scallop Circle Punch, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, and Grosgrain Ribbon. The MOPS ornaments were from MOPS international. I got the jars at Michael's for $1 and the containers are filled with Mike -n- Ikes or Tootsie Rolls, two of my favorite candies!!
