I am really trying to get back in the swing of things, and get organized again and as you can see I started with consistently updating my blogs (I have THREE). DRUM ROLL, My Wall is Complete!

Okay, I have been working on this collection for quite some time. I posted the first three frames of this set awhile ago, and since I have joined a scrapbook group in the area I have decided it is just about time I start finishing projects I started. So, this was a HUGE check off my list!! I am going to go back and add an embellishment to match the other three, but I am pretty darn proud of myself!! I am loving it. KIDS HANDI-WORK = DECOR?!

My son is still little and besides church and the occasional coloring page he doesn't make many things I keep (don't tell him). However, we had the opportunity to attend a painting party at his best friend Emma's house and well, I just couldn't throw away his first "Canvas Masterpiece." So, I thought to myself... what can I do to use it in the house? Well, as I began to let my creative juices flow I realized the colors of his painting match the boys' bathroom and then I thought, hey we sell some fun animals in our Definitely Decorative catalog, so a shopping I went. I decided "W is for Whale" would be PERFECT... see what you think!

SOMETIMES Cheating is Okay!!

Okay, last Mother's Day and Father's Day (2010) I was determined to make my own cards and well that just didn't happen. I guess I can chalk it up to having a baby just over a month old, a 2 1/2 year old running around and a new move to TX. So, quickly thought to myself, this is OKAY! I love Shutterfly as a back-up because they often have specials and even FREE stuff. So, it is okay to give yourself a break once in awhile and let someone else do the work.

HANDPRINTS Always A WINNER!

Okay, as many of you know I have not been on the blog much over the last few months after having my second son, and well I need EASY things to make that take little time & are little cost.

So, what Grandparent doesn't like hand prints? I have to admit the idea wasn't mine alone. My very crafty sister-in-law and amazing upline started this idea. When her kiddos are around 2yrs, she puts something together similar to this for her parents, and I just love being at their house and seeing the hand prints displayed, so last year when Drew was 2, I thought I have to add to the collection... hence the card. We sent these on Grandparents Day 2010!
